Howes Cave-Patricia S. McGinnis, 82, of Caverns Road died Saturday, March 26, 2022, at UHS Binghamton General following a lengthy illness.

Born April 8, 1939, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Frank and Helen (Dutko) Keller.

Pat retired from NYS Education Service Corporation where she processed student loans from 1977 until 2006.  Prior to that she worked for a short time at Penn Dixie.

Pat was a member of the Calvary Assembly of God and was active in the Ladies' Bible Study.  She enjoyed attending the two different ladies' luncheons each month. Reading books, feeding, and watching birds, particularly cardinals was a pleasurable past time of hers, along with basking in the warm sunshine.

Pat was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. McGinnis, her son, Timothy, great-granddaughter, Kassidy Middleton, her brother, Frankie Keller and her parents as well as her beloved cat, Moses.

She was the cherished mother of Robert McGinnis and Sandy Lizotte, both of Howes Cave; loving grandmother of Alisa (Eric) Middleton of Austin, Tx and their children, Brianna Mack of Houston, TX, Elijah Lizotte, Morgan and EJ Middleton all of Austin, TX and Jordin Middleton and her son, CJ Dean of Austin, TX; grandson, Scott (Karlee) Lizotte and their children, Caiden and Barrett Lizotte of Leander, TX; grandson, Joshua(Cassie) May and their children, Elijah, Owen and Liam May all of Deerwood, MN; granddaughter, Katrina (Chris) Cope and their children, Mathew, Jacob and Harrison Cope all of Fultonville, NY; grandson, Sean McGinnis of Tribes Hill, NY; granddaughter, Meagan Andrews and her son, Trent of Johnstown, NY.

A funeral service will be held at 12PM on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 309 Mineral Springs Road, Cobleskill with Pastor Ray Richards and Pastor Donald Klob co-officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the church prior to the service from 10AM until the commencement of the service.  Cremation will follow.
