Carlisle- Patricia A. Marino, 68, of Carlisle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Cobleskill, NY with her loving family at her side.

Born June 19, 1949 in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of Frank A. and Mary T. (Curry) Dowd Jr. Patricia was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School.

She and her husband moved to Carlisle where they raised their three daughters. Patricia was a collector of dolls, an animal lover and a painter. She enjoyed fishing and boating, tending to her garden of flowers, and calligraphy.

Along with her parents, her brother, Michael, predeceased Patricia.

Survivors include her husband, George Marino; three daughters: Shannon (Keith) Almy of Sharon Springs, Justine Cervenka of Scottsdale, AZ, and Colleen (Timothy) Thorington of Howes Cave; a granddaughter, Allison Thorington of Howes Cave; her two sisters: Agnes Cucchiara and Mary Ellen Dowd both of Brooklyn; her brother, Frank A. (Susan) Dowd III of Brooklyn and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral service that will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, where a period of visitation will be held prior, from 11 AM until 1 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Marathon for a Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.
