Patricia A. Enders, 84, of M.T. Path, died Wed. March 5, 2008 at the Cobleskill Regional Hospital in Cobleskill, NY following a brief illness.
Mrs. Enders was born in New York City, on July 28, 1923, daughter of the late Alexander R. and Claire (Short) McCabe. She graduated from Middleburgh Central School in 1942 and was endeared to Middleburgh for helping save patrons from the Baker Hotel fire in February of 1942. She was a lifetime volunteer for various organizations and she enjoyed painting, gardening, birding, Nascar and rooting for the New York Yankees. She was a member of the National Society of Tole Painters and was honored to have a work of her art on display in the Smithsonian Intitution. Mrs. Enders was also a member of the Middleburgh Historical Society and the Middleburgh United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, Horst C. Enders of Middleburgh whom she married June 24, 1951 and

A Memorial service will be at 10 am, Sat. April 5, 2008 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home 134 River St. Middleburgh. Rev. Thomas Carney and Rev. Carol Coltrain will co-officiate. Burial will take place in Middleburgh Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Cremation took place at the Vale Crematory, Schenectady, NY.
