Patricia Empie

Cobleskill- Patricia Empie, 67, of Elm Street, died Sunday, June 11, 2006 At Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Patty was born August 5, 1938 in the town of Sharon, and was the daughter of Alton and Mary (Heron) Empie.
She was a lifelong area resident, and for the past several years resided at the ARC Elm Street Home and attended the day treatment program.
She was predeceased by 2 sisters: Lucille Mackey and Betty Carpenter, and 5 brothers: William, Edward, Michael, Robert, and Leo Empie.
Survivors include 3 sisters: Joan Searles, Jean Lettis, and Arlene Gajowski, all of Palatine Bridge; 2 Brothers: Richard Empie of Sharon Springs, and John "Jack" Empie of Fort Plain; 2 special 'Mothers": Michelle Howland and Jody Liddle; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 15, at St. Vincent de Paul Church 138 Washington Ave. Cobleskill. Friends may call at the church from 9 to 10 AM prior to the service. Burial will be in St. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Canajoharie.
