Cobleskill- Pamela K. Giaimo, 56, of Elm Street, died suddenly on Friday, December 10, 2010.
Born August 14, 1956 in Cooperstown, she was the daughter of Doris (DeGroff) Van Schaick and the late Herm Buttery.
Pamela was a graduate of Sharon Springs Central School and had attended SUNY Cobleskill. She was employed as a caseworker for Schoharie County Department of Social Services for many years.
Her family was her pride and joy and she was ecstatic to be a Nana.
Survivors include her children: TyAnn Goddel of Watervliet, Jeffrey Giaimo of Cobleskill and Trisha Giaimo of Cobleskill; her granddaughter: Delaney Grace Langford; her mother, Doris Van Schaick of Sharon Springs; three sisters: Linda Smith of Sharon Springs, Debbie Buttery of Long Island, and Cindy Harris of Florida; her brother: Richard Buttery of Sharon Springs, and several nieces and nephews.
A period of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Slate Hill Cemetery.
