Norma Muscari

Cobleskill - Mrs. Norma B. Muscari, 86, formerly of Yonkers, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at her residence on Mohawk Drive in Cobleskill with her family at her side.
Born January 31, 1923 in Yonkers, she was the daughter of Raymond and Josephine (Stroh) Heine. Mrs. Muscari resided in Yonkers most of her life, moving to Cobleskill in 2001.
She loved to dance, cook, garden, crotchet, do crossword puzzles, and take care of her neighbors.
Mrs. Muscari was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas "Rick" John Muscari, who died in 1981, six sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include her three daughters: Patricia (Donald) Bopp of Summit, Laura Muscari of Yonkers, and Joanne (John) DeGrace of Cobleskill; ten grandchildren: Donald Bopp, Nicholas (Arlene) Bopp, Doreen (Paul) Laubsch, Michelle (Brian) Denvir, Mark (Dina) Bopp, Laura (Ralph) Spina, John DeGrace, Jeremy DeGrace, James DeGrace, and Jared DeGrace; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Park Hill Ave., Yonkers. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Yonkers. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held from 6 to 9 PM on Wednesday at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill, NY
