Fleming Island, FL- Norma A. Feist, 81, of Fleming Island, FL died Tuesday, October 11, 2016.
Born December 28, 1934 in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Cornelio and Concepcion (Rodriquez) Torres.
Most of her life she resided in Staten Island, moving to Downsville for fifteen years and the past eight years in FL.
Norma was a homemaker who loved to garden and sew. She was of catholic faith.
Her husband, Ronald, predeceased her in 2004.
She is survived by her three daughters: Angie Rostawanik (the late John) of Sloatsburg, Dawn (Joe) Bertola of Cobleskill, and Lara (John) Ferraco of Fleming Island, FL.; her son: George (Theresa) Feist of Wallkill; four siblings: Victor Torres, Brunilda Torres, Judith Torres, and Luis Torres; twenty-five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Heights, Cobleskill. Family and friends are also invited to attend a period of visitation to be held at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill on Sunday, October 23 from 2 to 4 PM. Burial will follow the mass in Paige Cemetery, Downsville, NY.
