Cobleskill- Mrs. Nina Elizabeth Righi, 83, of Stone View Heights, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at her residence.
Mrs. Righi was born November 3, 1923 in Hagan,VA, the daughter of Thomas H. and Grace (Rouse) Harris.
Mrs. Righi was a cook at Fernando's Lounge in Cobleskill for many years. She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church.
On September 29, 1946, she married James P. Righi, who predeceased her on October 13, 1985.
Survivors include her 4 children: James (Donna) Righi of Brandon, FL., Nancy Hahn of Valrica, FL., Jan (Thomas) Fries of Howes Cave, and Joseph (Cathleen) Righi of Syracuse; 9 grandchildren- James and Anthony Righi of Brandon, FL, Brian Righi, Meredith Hahn and Paul Hahn, all of Cobleskill, Heather and Jennie Fries of Howes Cave, and Miranda and Margaret Righi of Syracuse; and 3 great-grandchildren: Amy, Malorie, and Nicholas Righi all of Cobleskill.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM (noon) on Friday, March 16, 2007 at St. Vincent de Paul Church 138 Washington Ave. Cobleskill with Father Thomas F. Holmes as celebrant. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Thursday at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill. Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery at a later date.
