Neoma Cole

Latham- Neoma Ruth Cole, 63, of Colonie Avenue, died Monday, April 27, 2020.

Born July 5, 1956 in Stamford, NY, she was the daughter to Oraien A. and Nellie (Foote) Cole.

Neoma graduated from the former Richmondville Central School and was a member of the Warnerville United Methodist Church.  She lived in Summit for most of her life before moving to Latham NY.  Neoma enjoyed making crafts and listening to music.

She is survived by her brother, Ivan (Jane) Cole of Summit; her brothers-in-law: Dave Jorgensen of Cobleskill and Edward Eckert of Stamford, along with three nieces, four nephews and their children.

Neoma was predeceased by her sisters, Nicki Jorgensen and Freda Eckert as well as her parents.

Private services, due to government restrictions concerning COVID-19, will be held for the immediate family with burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Jefferson, NY.

As per the wishes of the family, memorial contributions can be made in Neoma’s name to Marathon For A Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY.
