Naomi J. "Leigh" Campbell, 74 of Cliff St., passed away Sunday, Aug. 19 at Ellis Hospital, Schenectady, NY. This was also the date of her 57th wedding anniversary to her beloved husband, Clifford Campbell, who survives her.
Naomi was born in Staten Island, NY on April 16, 1933, a daughter of the late Arthur G. Belden, Sr., and Catherine L. Tobin. She moved, with her family, to Middleburgh, NY as a teenager. She began her career as a clerk, at the Middleburgh Post Office, on March 12, 1966 and retired after 27 years of service. During her postal career she was a member and past president of the Middleburgh Business and Professional Women's Club.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00A.M. on Thurs., Aug. 23, 2007 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY. Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will officiate. Calling hours will be from 6-8 PM
On Wed. Aug. 22, 2007, at the funeral home. Cremation will take place at the Vale Cemetery Crematorium, Schenectady and burial of the cremains will be at a later date in the Middleburgh Cemetery.
