Nancy Wayman

Cobleskill- Nancy L. Wayman, 62, of North Street, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her daughter's residence in Schoharie.

Born October 6, 1950 in Cobleskill, she was a daughter of Clarence and Jessie (Taylor) Becker. Nancy was a lifelong area resident, and had most recently been employed as a salesperson at Fashion Bug in Cobleskill.

Survivors include her three children: Hollie (William) Jankowski of Schoharie, Ronald Whitbeck of Ballston Spa, Charles "Chubby" (Terri-Ann) Whitbeck of Schenectady; four grandchildren: Anthony Whitbeck, Derric, Skyler, and Trinity Jankowski; her sister: Genevieve Whitaker of Warnerville; her brother: Butch Ryder of Mohawk, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friends are also invited to a time of visitation to be held at the funeral home prior to the service from 9 AM to 10 AM. A public graveside service will be held in the spring in Central Bridge Cemetery.
