COBLESKILL- Nancy B. Terpenning, 75, of Early Woodland Apartments, died Monday, February 20, 2006 at Bassett Hospital of Schoharie County after a brief illness.
Miss Terpenning was born November 23, 1930, in Cobleskill and was the daughter of Charles E. and Lela (Tator) Terpenning.
She moved back to the Cobleskill area 4 years ago from Newburgh after retiring from Dailey Oil Company as a bookkeeper.
She was predeceased by 4 brothers; Roger F., Charles E. Jr., Harry Tator, and Donald Floyd Terpenning; one sister; Betty W. Kahn.
Miss Terpenning is survived by 5 sisters; Marion King of Hyndsville, Shirley Brooker of Cobleskill, Ada Wayman of Howes Cave, Dorothy (Robert) Brumaghim of Hyndsville, Catherine (Robert) Orth of Warnerville; two sisters-in-law; Shirley T. Terpenning and Marjorie Terpenning; one brother-in-law; Leonard Kahn;and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be at 2 pm, Thursday, February 23 at the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY with Rev. Franklyn Wright officiating. The public may call from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Spring burial in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
