Mrs. Jessie Klob

Cobleskill: Jessie M. Klob, 79, of Elm Street, quietly entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on May 25, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Jessie was born on December 20, 1934 in Trenton, NJ to Ila (Silliman) and Samuel Taber.

She married Reverend Donald Klob on September 4, 1954. Together, they began pastoring in October of 1954, serving Wesleyan churches in Eastern New York, including the Cobleskill, Willow and Phoenecia Wesleyan churches.

Her love of the Lord was the strength of her life and she shared that love and strength through her devotion to her family and friends.

Jessie is survived by her husband: Reverend Donald H. Klob of Cobleskill; daughter: Donna (Mark) Archer of Barberton, OH.; sons: Steven (Sharon) Klob of Colonie, Kevin (Laura) Klob of Parkesburg, PA, David (Bethanie) Klob of Calgary AB, Canada; brother: Stanley (Betty) Taber of Brooksville, FL; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 2 cousins; many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00PM on Friday, June 6, 2014 at the Loudonville Community Church, 374 Loudon Rd., Loudonville, NY. Rev. Kenneth Taber will officiate. Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 1:00PM-3:00PM at the church, prior to the service.

A second celebration of her life will be held at 4:00PM on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the Fusion Community Church, 375 North Grand Street, Cobleskill, NY . Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 3:00PM-4:00PM at the church, prior to the service.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and the Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh.
