Michelle Smith

Middleburgh- Michelle F. Smith, 51, formerly of State Route 145, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi, following a long illness.

Born November 15, 1961 in Schenectady, she was a lifelong area resident of Middleburgh and attended Middleburgh Central School.

Michelle cherished her grandchildren and loved gardening and her dogs. She was an artist, primarily pencil drawings and watercolors. She also enjoyed photography.

Survivors include her daughter: Nicole Acer of Bloomville, and her two children: Kiersten and Jacob; her mother: Barbara Everett of Citra, FL; three sisters: Cathelene Salisbury of Sharon Springs, Cyndi Liddle of Altamont, Lisa Kilbury of Citra, FL; and her brother: Christopher Everett.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh with Greg Zeh officiating.

Inurnment will be in Middleburgh Cemetery.
