Michelle Lee Cota, 47, of Schenectady, New York died unexpectedly October 1, 2024.
Born on May 27, 1977 in Niskayuna, NY, she was the daughter of Allen Cota, Sr. and Diane Morrell Cota Debeardinis. She was a high school graduate and around the age of 30, she obtained her bachelor's degree in legal studies from Western International University.
Most recently Michelle had worked as a server at Pizza Hut in Cobleskill.
Michelle did volunteer work. She loved cooking, cleaning, dancing, and being with her family. Michelle also enjoyed knitting, coloring, swimming, puzzles, roller-skating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling, and journaling. She was always the life of the party and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her father, Allen Cota, Sr. of FL; daughter, Karina Cota of Cobleskill, NY; brother, Allen Cota of Cobleskill, NY; sister, Tammy Cota of FL; and sister-in-law, Mary Davis of Cobleskill, NY.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024 at 3PM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St. Cobleskill with a period of visition to be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
