Michael Moreo

Michael A. Moreo, 68 of Mohawk Drive died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY.

Mr. Moreo was born on February 19, 1940 in Bronx, NY, son of the late Michael T. and Paolina (Zeoli) Moreo. He served in the United States Army from 1962-1964 and was stationed in Bootsbach, Germany. Mr. Moreo worked at the General Motors assembly plant in Mahwah, NJ and later as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in Bronx, NY.
He is survived by his companion, Teresa Aiello of Cobleskill, sister and brother-in-law, Lauren and Stephen Boyle of Naples, FL., nieces, Stefanie Fuda (Andrew) of Schenectady, NY, Laurie McGeary(Len) of Middleburgh, NY, great-nieces, Paolina Fuda of Schenectady, Lauren McGeary of Middleburgh, NY, great-nephew, Angelo Fuda of Schenectady, NY and cousins Nicola Genco (Paul), Toni-Jo Pizzolo (Frank), Robert Moreo, Anthony Zeoli (Elizabeth) all of Westchester, NY.

There are no services at this time. Cremation will take place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY. Inurnment of the cremains will be at the Calverton National Cemetery, Riverhead, NY. Memorials may be sent to the Cobleskill Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 451, Cobleskill, NY 12043. The Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh, NY and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill are assisting the family with the arrangements.
