Michael Gorman

Michael P. O'Gorman, 68, of East Hill Road, died suddenly, Sun, July 8, 2007 at the Albany Medical Center following an accident at his home.

Mr. O' Gorman was born in Yonkers, NY on May 29, 1939 a son of the late John and Theresa Carroll O 'Gorman. He retired as a District Manager from the Utilities Mutual Insurance Company, in Syracuse, NY. Mr. O 'Gorman was an avid cyclist and outdoorsman and animal lover. He was especially fond of the scenic Schoharie Valley. He enjoyed physical fitness and was a sports and classic car enthusiast. Mr. O' Gorman was a former member of the Knights of Colombus, Council # 4475. He enjoyed wintering in Florida and was a devoted father, husband and brother He was predeceased by his brothers, John and James.

Mr. O' Gorman is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Tyrrell O' Gorman, whom he married on Oct. 5, 1968 and

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Sat. July 14, 2007 at the Palmer & Shaylor, Inc. Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh, NY, with Father Thomas Holmes officiating. Friends may call from 1:00-2:30P.M., at the Funeral Home, prior to the service. Cremation will take place at the Vale Cemetery Crematorium in Schenectady, NY.
