Maryann V. Puglia, 78, formerly of Eminence, NY and most recently of Chestnut Nursing and Rehab Facility in Oneonta, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Utica.
She was born in Brooklyn, NY, on August 8, 1941, and was the daughter of Anthony and Helen (Martonik) Mytych.
Maryann was predeceased by her husband, John Puglia, Jr. who died on May 19, 2007.
She was a homemaker for most of her life, supporting her husband in his participation in County and Town politics. Maryann volunteered for several years with the Cobleskill Regional Hospital Auxiliary, assisted many families by doing house cleaning, and enjoyed tending to her gardens.
There will be no formal services per her request.
