Fultonham- Maryann F. Johnson, 72, of Partridge Nest Drive, died suddenly on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.
Born May 3, 1942, in Red Bank, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Mary (Swartz) Lentz.
Maryann was a 1959 graduate of Middletown Township High School in NJ. For many years, she was an executive secretary, retiring from HSBC Bank in Colonie. Her career had taken her to the west coast, as well as working on the east coast.
Maryann enjoyed Tennessee walking horses, playing poker, and camping and walking throughout the Adirondack Mountains.
Survivors include her husband, Roy W. Johnson, whom she married January 19, 1980; her brother: David (Susan) Lentz of Snohomish, WA; and her nephew: Christopher Lentz of Snohomish, WA.
In keeping with her request, there will be no calling hours or formal service. Memorial contributions may be made to Marathon for a Better Life, PO Box 268, Warnerville, NY 12187, MEVAC, PO Box 817, Middleburgh, NY 12122, or to a charity of one's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh and Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
