Cobleskill- MaryAnn C. Bascomb, 70, of Cobleskill died Monday, May 22, 2023 at St. Peter's Hospice following years of declining health.
Born August 14, 1952 in Utica, NY she was the daughter of Joseph and Rose (Scalise) Terminio . She grew up in Utica and was a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College where she received her Associate's Degree.
MaryAnn enjoyed spending time with her husband and two daughters above all. She enjoyed playing cards with friends, camping and shopping with her girls. For many years MaryAnn was the reception manager at the former Schenectady Regional Orthopedics. She also found pleasure in gathering with her co-workers outside of the office. Spending time with her grandchildren is what she treasured the most.
Her memories will be cherished by her husband of 42 years, Paul Bascomb, whom she married March 21, 1981; her daughters: Katie (Steve) Giangiordano and Kelly Bascomb (Anthony); her grandchildren: Sophia, Joseph, Dominic, Jacob, and Tess; her sister-in-law, Katherine "Kitty" (Michael-deceased)Terminio; niece, Joelle (Vincent) Crescenzo; several cousins, nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law: Connie (Ed-deceased) Elsensohn, Kathy (Mike) Moore, and Colleen (Darius-deceased) Benson and brother-in-law, Mike (JoAnn) Bascomb; Louis Bascomb (deceased), Robert Bascomb (deceased); Richard Bascomb (deceased); in-laws Marion and Harold Bascomb (deceased) and dear longtime friends, Ed and Jackie White.
A funeral liturgy will be held at 1:30 PM on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 138 Washington Ave., Cobleskill with Deacon Gary Surman presiding. There will be no formal calling hours and internment will be private.
