Richmondville- Mary F. Vought, 73, of Lincoln Park Lane, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 after being stricken at her granddaughter's home in Syracuse.
Born May 5, 1942 in Cobleskill, she was the daughter of Maurice and Esther (Graves) Myers.
Mary retired from Bassett Healthcare where she was a lab courier. Her family was dearest to here and she truly enjoyed baking, cooking, and feeding family and friends. She had an unusual hobby of searching recipes on the internet and writing them on recipes cards. Mary also enjoyed the friendship and McDonald's Coffee Club in Walmart.
She was predeceased by her husband, Graydon Vought, Jr., who died March 22, 2000.
Survivors include her children: Graydon M. (Maria) Vought, Graydine M. (Don)
Sanders, Gina M. (Kevin) Geddes Gidget M. (Arthur) McLasky, and Patricia L. (Todd) Diamond; and eight grandchildren: Donald Sanders, Jr., Donella Sanders, Ashley Vought, Joshua Geddes, Jake Geddes, Declan McLasky, Nadia McLasky, and Hanna Rhoades.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at Calvary Chapel of the Hills, Legion Drive, Cobleskill. Private inurnment will be at Gerald B. H. Solomon National Cemetery in Schuylerville. There will be no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
