Seward- Mary Louise Robinson, 97, of Seward passed away on Monday, February 3, 2020 at Bassett Medical Center in Cooperstown.

She was born in Reading, PA January 22, 1923 and was the daughter of the late John and Mary M. (Wentzel) Sauer.

She retired from Kenneth Fake Insurance Agency where she was the bookkeeper for many years. Mary Louise was involved with the First Baptist Church Food Pantry until her death.

She was predeceased by her husband, Leland W. Robinson, of 63 years, her sister, Helen Hoover, of PA. and two brothers: Paul and Charles of PA.

She is survived by her son, John L. Robinson (Patricia) of Texas and daughter, Joan M. Robinson of Cobleskill; grandchildren: Marie Fetterman (Doug) of Texas and Christopher Robinson (Jamie) of Florida; great-grandchildren: Jessyca, Caitlyn, Savanna and John Christopher and two step great-grandchildren: Hunter and Catherine; her adoptive family: Cindy McClure (John), Amy France, Beth Taylor, Heather Johnson, and Jennifer Chavez.

A memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 8, at Christian Community Church of Faith, 355 State Rt. 7, Richmondville, NY. Officiating the service will be Pastor David Houck.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the First Baptist Food Pantry or the Regional Food Bank.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY  12043.
