Middleburgh, NY- Mary Lou Chichester, 63, of Windy Ridge Road, died Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at her home with her family at her side.

Born September 22, 1947 in Conesville, NY, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Mary (Porter) Young.

Mary Lou worked most recently as an aide at the Middleburgh Central School. She enjoyed cooking and traveling and was a huge Lion King and E.T. fan.

Mary Lou was also a dedicated and loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her family was her greatest passion.

Mary Lou is survived by her husband, Douglas V. Chichester whom she married on June 23, 1968 and their miniature Dachshund: Copper; her daughters: Valeria J. (Richard) Campbell of Middleburgh, Victoria J. Chichester of Middleburgh and Samantha Chichester of Plaistow, NH; her son: Vaughn E. (Lydia) Chichester of Conway, SC; her grandchildren: Tyler, Keith, Nickolas, Mary and Kelsey; her brother: Richard (Betty Ann) Young of Windham; her sisters: Linda (James) Chichester of Middleburgh, Bonnie (Donald) Russell of Schoharie, Myrtle Seaburg of Ravena, Betty Mattice of Cobleskill, JoAnn Fisher of Hunter.

At her request, there will be no public memorial service or visitation. Cremation will take place at the Vale Crematory in Schenectady, NY.
