Mark Cole, 61, of West Main Street, Cobleskill, New York died Tuesday, October 26, 2022 at his home with his loving family at his side.
Born on October 18, 1961 in Cobleskill, he was the son of Fred John and Helene Elise (Freiermuth) Cole. Mark was a United States Army veteran, proudly serving his country from 1983 until 1986 when he received an honorable discharge.
A hard worker all his life, he retired from GTI as a CDL truck driver. At one time he was employed as a heavy equipment operator at Cobleskill Stone Products.
Mark was a member of the Fusion Community Church and the former Golden Acres Farm and Ranch that was located in Grand Gorge.
He enjoyed riding, both horses and motorcycles and was his own mechanic as well as detailing by hand painting designs. Mark did leather working, was a firearm gun enthusiast and was always willing to lend a hand. He loved spending his time fishing with the kids and enjoying time spent with family. Mark was also fond of animals, his rottweilers, pit-bulls, mutts, German shepherds, horses and quarter horses. He was an outdoors man and found pleasure with appreciating nature.
Continuing to share his love and memories are his children: Savannah Cole of Fly Creek, Tanner Cole of Davenport, Mackenzie Blodgett of Seward and Bryan Blodgett of Fulton; siblings: Susan Wilkens of Cobleskill, Shane Cole of Seward and Sheila Thomas of Oneonta; his grandchildren: Elias Eamer-Dulin of Seward and Oakley Blodgett of Fulton his significant other, Lori Hozlock of Cobleskill; nephew, Leif Cole of Stokesdale, NC and niece, Kimmy Elmore of Cobleskill.
In keeping with the family's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St, Cobleskill, NY
