North Blenheim- Marjorye Keyser Ward, of State Route 30, died Friday, July 10, 2015 at her home.

Marjorye was born in Jersey City, NJ to Mary (Rhinehart) and Herbert Keyser.

She graduated from Jefferson High School and was Salutatorian of her class.

Marjorye attended Latin American Institute in New York City in preparation for the export trade, with extensive study in Spanish and French. She was fluent in Spanish with a working knowledge of French, Russian and Yiddish.

Marjorye worked as the export manager for the Plymouth Rubber Co. for many years, often traveling to Central America. She later worked in the personnel department and supervised missions work at the National offices of the Presbyterian Church, in New York City.

Upon retiring, she and her husband moved to North Blenheim where she was an active member of the North Blenheim United Methodist Church. She loved to read, write, support the Schoharie Valley Animal Shelter and watch "Pet Connection" on Channel 10.

Marjorye is survived by her husband, Joseph Ward of North Blenheim; step-daughter: Donna Kellagher of California; many cousins, friends and her church family.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Hone, 134 River St., Middleburgh with Rev. Neil Irwin of the North Blenheim United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friends are also invited to attend a period of visitation to be held prior to the service from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Cremation will follow the service.
