Middleburgh- Mrs. Marion T. Buschynski, 90, of State Route 145, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam.
Born September 8, 1919 in Middleburgh, she was a daughter of William and Frances (Mueller) Traver.
A lifelong area resident, Marion graduated from Middleburgh Central School.
She was co-owner and operator of the Buschynski family dairy farm and was a member of the Dairymen's League. She was also a member of the Cooperative Extension, where she taught sewing, and was active with their Demonstation Units.
Marion was predeceased by her husband, Marion "Windy" Buschynski, and her siblings.
Survivors include her daughter, Bonny (Robert) McTaggert of Morgantown, WVA; two sons: David (Sara) Buschynski of Saratoga and John (Carol) Buschynski of Middleburgh; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 28, 2009 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh with Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church officiating. Friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held on Monday, from 12:00 to 1:00 PM, prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Old Stone Fort Cemetery, Schoharie, NY.
