Fultonham- Mrs. Marilyn J. Kiburz, 65, of Pleasant Valley Road, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Born February 4, 1944 in Albany, Marilyn was the daughter of William L. and Freda (Kniffen) Conrad. She was a graduate of Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central School.
Marilyn retired ten years ago, as a bus driver for Schoharie County ARC. Prior to which, she drove bus for Greenville School District and Barman's Transport of Huntersland.
She was a member of Ravena Fish and Wildlife Protective Association and enjoyed hunting. Marilyn was also a doll collector.
Survivors include her husband, Theodore H. Kiburz, whom she married December 15, 1984; two sons: Michael (Karen) Pebler of Clifton Park, and Stephen (Judy) Pebler of Ravena; and three grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh. Officiating will be Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church. A period of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
