Marie Moore

North Blenheim- Marie J. Moore, 96, formerly of North Blenheim died Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home where she has resided for the past few years.

Born August 22, 1918 in South Gilboa, she was the daughter of Stephen and Irene (Conro) Harris. She was a homemaker all her life and lived in North Blenheim for fifty-nine years before moving to Stamford.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest P. Moore, Sr., who died February 8, 2002.

Survivors include her three children: Joan Guzi of Virginia, Joyce (George) Falcone of Stamford, NY, and Ernest P. (Gail) Moore, Jr. of Gloversville; her brother: Peter (Alice) Harris of Grand Gorge; nine grandchildren: Dawnette (Randy) Hotaling, JoAnn (Peter) Rupp, Karen (Gary) Paleroc, Jennifer (Tony) Casalaco, Patrick Guzi, Patricia Sue (Ed) Mosconi, Susan (Ed) Conn, Jeffrey (Liza) Moore, and Steven (Nancy) Moore; twelve great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh. Family and friends are also invited to a period of visitation to be held at the funeral home one hour prior to the service, from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Blenheim.
