Marguerite Bolster

Seward- Marguerite B. Bolster, 91, formerly of Borst Rd., died Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Baptist Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Scotia where she has been a resident for the past few years.

Born November 26, 1921 in Rensselaer, she was the daughter of Harry and Marion (Earle) Barton.

Marguerite retired from Physicians' Laboratory in Schenectady, where she was a medical technician.

She was predeceased on April 8, 2006 by her husband, Morris, whom she married January 14, 1948, her son, Frederick, who died in 1977, and her sister, Marion Priscilla Babcock.

Survivors include her daughter: Mary Elizabeth Bolster of Mount Airy, MD; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Rev. Pacia Ferrell Vamvas of the Lawyersville Reformed Church officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery, Delanson. There will be no calling hours.
