SCHOHARIE- Margaret E. Woodman, 53,of Main Street in Schoharie, died Wednesday, August 15, 2007 due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 88.
Mrs. Woodman was born July 30, 1954 and was the daughter of William Otto and Mary Elizabeth (McCarthy) Gauger.
She was formerly of Duanesburg, moved to Schoharie 3 years ago, and was employed at Sherman Specialty, Inc. of Guilderland for the last 5 years.
She was predeceased by her father and two brothers; James Gauger who died May of 1957 and Charles Gauger who died April of 1978.
Mrs. Woodman is survived by her children; Jeremiah J. Woodman of Middleburgh, Donald E. Woodman of Central Bridge, Derick M. Woodman of Cobleskill, John C. Woodman of Cobleskill, Steven J. VanBuren, Tamara L. VanBuren and Julie M. VanBuren all of Schoharie; her mother, Mary E. Gauger, her brothers and sisters; Michael (Carol) Gauger of Saratoga Springs, NY, Mary Anne Gauger of Schenectady, NY, Patricia (Dipak) Majumder of Kansas, Barbara (Barry) Kent of Buffalo, NY, John (Kris) Gauger of Chicago, IL, Katherine (John) Matthews of Rotterdam, NY, Elizabeth (Dave) Rinaldi of Schenectady, NY, Helen (Eric) Lange of Burnt Hills, NY, Joseph (Sarah) Gauger of Ticonderoga, NY, Debbie (Randy) Ott of Buffalo, NY and Clare (Don) Sitterly of Burnt Hills, NY as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30pm on Thursday, August 23, 2007 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY with Rev. George Richards officiating. Public may call from 3-4:30 prior to the Memorial Service.
