Schenectady- Margaret M. Ryan, 91, of Bernice St., died Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at her granddaughter's home in Summit.
Born May 2, 1925 in Schenectady, she was the daughter of William and Barbara (Schaaff) Millet.
Maggie was a meat packer at Rotterdam Meat Factory for several years. In her leisure, she enjoyed puzzles and beading.
She married Richard Ryan on September 16, 1950 and he predeceased her in 1995.
Survivors include her two sons: Michael Ryan of Schenectady, Patrick Ryan of Phoenix, AZ; her sister: Virginia Thimineur of Scotia; four grandchildren: Daniel Ryan of Schenectady, Samantha Ryan of Summit, Kelly Brooks and John Brooks both of AZ.
A period of visitation will be held from 11AM to 12PM on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill. There will be no formal funeral service and burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, Inc., 125 Granite Dr., Suite 1, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
