Margaret Lauterbach

Cobleskill-Margaret “Ann” Lauterbach, 86, of Hidden Lane, died Sunday, February 2, 2020 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

Born January 21, 1934 in Warnerville, she was the daughter of Arkel and Margaret Robb (Jones) Fancher.

Ann was a 1951 graduate of Schoharie Central School and was a housekeeper for many families in both Cobleskill and Schoharie.  She also was a Nanny for some of these families as their parents were working.

In her younger years, Ann enjoyed gardening and sewing.  She was an avid reader and took pleasure in watching the birds.

Treasuring her memories are her three children: Deborah (Reza) Mirdamadi of Hagerstown, MD, Kathy (Dennis) Bean and John (Amy) Lauterbach all of Cobleskill; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren:  Ameen and Kayvon Mirdamadi, Corey Bartlett, Kerri (Matt) Fernandez and their children: Corinne and Danielle; Craig Bartlett, Brett and Sara Lauterbach.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring.  Memorial contributions in Ann’s name may be made to Parkinson’s Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.
