Cobleskill- Margaret, "Midge", Glenn, 99, formerly of Cobleskill, died Friday, October 2, 2015 at Palatine Bridge Nursing Home where she had been a resident for the past ten years.
Born April 1, 1916 in Cobleskill, she was the daughter of Vincent and Angelina (Tocinelli) Florio, Sr.
Midge was a lifelong area resident and graduated from the former Cobleskill Central School. She assisted her husband on a part time basis in the optometrist office of Dr. John and Dr. Richard Glenn. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cobleskill.
Her husband, Dr. John Glenn, predeceased her in February of 2001.
Survivors include her brother-in-law and wife, Dr. Richard and Betty Glenn, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, October 5, 2015 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill with Rev. Sara Litzner of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. Family and friends are also invited to attend a period of visitation to be held from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
