Mae Shallash

Mae A. Shallash, 84, of Flat Creek Rd, died Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at Albany Medical Center, Albany, NY following a brief illness.

Mrs. Shallash was born on April 21, 1924 in Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Bertha (Aldemann) and William Wilson.

Mrs. Shallash was a homemaker and of Catholic Faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Shallash, on May 20, 1980.

Mrs. Shallash is survived by her daughter, Amy Cooper of Chandler, AZ, her son, Michael Shallash of Pocono Lake, PA, granddaughter, Christine Henriquez, grandson, Michael Henriquez and great-granddaughter, Samantha Henriquez.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 23, 2009 at 2pm at the Keyserkill Cemetery, Keyserkill Rd., Town of Broome, NY. Father Thomas Holmes of St. Catherine's Church, Middleburgh, NY will be officiating. The Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, Middleburgh, NY and the Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, Cobleskill, NY are assisting the family with the arrangements.
