Madeline Montague

Peekskill- Madeline "Mikki" E. Montague, 51, of Carhart Ave., died Saturday, February 18, 2012 due to injuries sustained in a pedestrian /motor vehicle accident.

Born July 16, 1960 in Tarrytown, NY, she was a daughter of Sandra (Lambert) Montague and the late Angelo Montague, who predeceased her in 2006.

Mikki loved to spend time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. She had an adventerous soul and left everyone she met smiling a little brighter. Recently Mikki had devoted her time for caring for her mother. Mikki will be missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra Montague of Middleburgh; her three siblings: Debra (David) Madera of Saugerties, Anegelo Montague of Middleburgh, and James (Amylee) Montague of Verplanck; four nieces: Ashley, Krista Rose, Delia, and Gianna; two nephews: Mauro and James, Jr.; her longtime friend: Harold Smith; and aunts and uncles.

A funeral service will be held at 3 PM on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, Main St., Middleburgh. Family and friends are also invited to a time of visitation to be held at the church prior to the service from 1 to 3 PM. Cremation will follow at Vale Crematory.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA of Westchester.
