Mackenzie Taylor Bamberger, of Cobleskill, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 29th, 2024, at the age of 22. Born on Wednesday, May 29th, 2002 in Niskayuna, New York, Mackenzie was the son of Lauren (Bamberger) Czechowski.
Mackenzie was a graduate of Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, Class of 2020.
He worked for Pizza Shack in Cobleskill, NY.
Mackenzie was a happy and positive person. He loved his family very much and they were truly blessed by him. In his free time, Mackenzie enjoyed playing Magic: The Gathering and had a passion for the game. He loved playing Magic at Games A Plunder and gaming online. He was a life Boy Scout. Boy Scouts were something he enjoyed doing with his grandfather, Richard. He traveled to several states with the Boy Scouts and enjoyed the National Jamboree. He enjoyed the outdoors and had a love for campfires. Mackenzie also loved riding his bike. He was so proud of it and the independence it brought him.
Mackenzie is survived by his parents, Lauren and Joseph Czechowski; sisters, Madison Czechowski, Caelyn Czechowski, Brooke Czechowski; brothers, Austin Czechowski and Luke Czechowski and Laurisa. He was also cherished by his grandparents, Richard and Jane Bamberger, Gregory Czechowski; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 2:00-4:00pm at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY with a graveside service following at Cobleskill Rural Cemetery. For those unable to attend in person there will be a livestream through Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home Facebook page. Services will conclude with a Celebration of Life at the East Worcester Fish & Game Club.
