Lawyersville- Mrs. Lori Ann Empie, 43, of Larkin Lane, died suddenly on Saturday, May 12, 2007.
Lori was born March 18, 1964 in Cobleskill, the daughter of Gilberta (Proctor) Warner and the late Arthur John Warner.
She was a lifelong area resident and had most recently been employed at the State University of New York in Cobleskill. She was baptized at the Lawyersville Reformed Church, loved cats, writing poetry, was an avid reader and had a green thumb. Lori had also worked on the Holmes Farm.
Lori was Mom and caregiver to her son, Zachary, and wife to Lee F. Empie, III, whom she married April 8, 1994. Other survivors include her step-son, Lee F. Empie IV of Altamont; her mother, Gilberta Warner and her brother, Steven Warner, both of Warnerville.
A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, May 15, at the Lawyersville Reformed Church State Route 145, with Rev. Judson Marvel officiating. Calling hours from 4 to6 PM at the church, prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawyersville Cemetery.
