Breakabeen: Lisa M. Trombley, 45, of Clauverwie, died unexpectedly on Monday October 6, 2014 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.

Lisa was born on April 30, 1969 in Cooperstown, NY, a daughter of Bonnie (Stanton) Schultz and Robert F. Benson, Sr.

Lisa graduated from Milford High School and went on to attend the SUNY Cobleskill Liberal Arts program.

She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper at Trombley's Auto Repair in Breakabeen.

Lisa was very active with scouting and served as a Scoutmaster for both of the local Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops.

She was also a homemaker, a devoted, loving wife and mother who enjoyed cooking, canning and caring for her family.

She was predeceased by her brother: Brandon Benson.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Gary Trombley of Breakabeen, whom she married on October 5, 1996 and daughter: Destiny Trombley of Breakabeen; son: Rhys Trombley of Breakabeen, step-daughter: Marion Trombley of Cobleskill; step-son: Allen (Kaite) Trombley of Breakabeen; granddaughters: Anais Trombley of Breakabeen, Namine Archer and Teelana Henderson, both of Cobleskill; mother: Bonnie Schultz of Warnerville; father: Robert F. Benson, Sr. of Decatur; sisters: Pamela (Chris) Savage of Delhi, Sherry (Ben) Rose of Front Royal, VA; brothers: Robert F. (Heather) Benson, Jr. of East Springfield, Dean (Karen) Benson of Delanson, Joseph (Amanda) Schultz of Warnerville; step-brother: Paul (Angel) Schultz of Stamford; brother: Bert (Tara) Benson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home, 134 River St., Middleburgh. Rev. Carol Coltrain of the Huntersland United Methodist Church will officate. A period of visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Friday, prior to the memorial service. Cremation took place at Vale Crematory in Schenectady.
