Richmondville- Linda S. Shumway, 61, of West Richmondville Road, died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at her residence with her family by her side.
Born August 18, 1949 in Huntington, NY, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Tackee) Tindell.
Linda was a graduate of Northport High School and had moved to Schoharie County in 1979.
Linda had been employed as an associate at Walmart in Cobleskill for many years before retiring due to her illness.
Survivors include her two sons: Theodore (Valerie) Shumway and Sanford Shumway both of Richmondville; her grandson: Tyler Shumway of Richmondville; her sister, Barbara Tindell and brother, George Tindell, both of Holly Hill, FL.
There will be no public service or calling hours.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill and Palmer & Shaylor Funeral Home of Middleburgh.
