Linda Nelson

West Fulton- Linda D. Nelson, 70, of Bear Ladder Road, died Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Ellis Hospital.

Linda was born in Schenectady on March 1, 1946 to Beatrice (Fick) and Fredrick McCauley.

She graduated from Middleburgh Central School. Linda worked for Westheimer's in Schoharie and also as a homemaker.

She loved gardening, birds, her beloved dogs, Jenna and Baby, and her grandchildren.

Linda will be missed at family gatherings, which won't be the same without her, or her potato salad.

She was predeceased by her parents, her brother: Wayne McCauley and her soulmate: Charles Manon.

Linda is survived by her daughters: Traci (David) Nelson of Fultonham, Melissa (Bobby) Gorton of Warnerville, Kandi Nelson (John McClean) of Fultonham; sons: Robert Nelson, Jr. of Mattituck, NY, Gary (Rebecca) Bevins of Canajoharie; sisters: Debra Johnson of Huntsville, AL, Dale Smith of Sarasota, FL; grandchildren: Brandon, Caitlyn, Amanda, Sheena, Sheila, Tasha, Melinda, Adaline, Matthew, Kole, Roscoe, Rudy, Jessica, Pauline, Justine; 9 great-grandchildren; companion: Donald Kuhn of West Fulton.

A celebration of Linda's life will be held at 2:00PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at
her daughter Traci's home, 3410 State Route 30, Fultonham, NY 12071.
