SHUTTERS CORNERS-Town of Wright - Linda Jean Harrington, 66, formerly of Shutters Corners in the Town of Wright, died Sunday, January 29, 2012 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, NY after a brief illness. She was a resident of the River Ridge Living Center in Amsterdam, NY for the past year.
Linda was born August 31, 1945 in Cobleskill, NY and was the daughter of Lynn E. and Elnora (Earles) Harrington, who both predeceased her.
She was self employed, cleaning houses for others throughout Schoharie County for numerous years until her health declined. She was of Presbyterian faith.
Linda is survived by an Uncle, Marcus Earles of Middleburgh, and a cousin, Jacquelyn and Edward Hurn and their children, Corey and Taylor, all of Middleburgh.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2012 from 6-7 pm at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY. A graveside service will be held in the spring at Middleburgh Cemetery.
