Richmondville- Leta E. Radliff, 83, of Palmer Road, died Friday, August 12, 2011 at A.O. Fox Hospital in Oneonta following a long illness.
Born December 24, 1927 in Lutheranville, NY, she was a daughter of Norman and Mary Jane (Boughton) Johns
Leta was a lifelong area resident and graduated from the former Richmondville Central School. She retired from SUNY Cobleskill where she had been employed by the Faculty Student Association and prepared food in the cafeteria.
Leta was a volunteer with the Cobleskill Hospital Auxiliary and the Richmondville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by a brother, Carl Johns.
Survivors include her husband, Harry Radliff; and her daughter, Joan Radliff, both of Richmondville; three siblings: Howard (Wanda) Johns of East Worcester, Esther (Ernest) Banks of Richmondville, and Norma (Jack) Van Buren of Roseboom; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great- nephews.
A private graveside service will be held at Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
