Warnerville- Leslie E. Goodsill, Jr., 75, of West Fulton Road, died Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at his residence following a long illness.
Born September 6, 1941 in North Adams, MA, he was the son of Leslie and Ida M. (Rifenbark) Goodsill, Sr.
Leslie retired from the former Stove Company in Howes Cave, where he was a welder and assembler.
He was a fan of NASCAR, football, particularly the Pittsburgh Steelers and his baseball team, the New York Yankees. Leslie also enjoyed search and find books and working on cars.
He married Arletta Slater on October 25, 1959 and she predeceased him on March 10, 2016. His son, Dale, and daughter, Fawn, also predeceased him.
Survivors include his two daughters: Nova (Larry) Manon of Arkville and Pauline (Leo) Yearry of Cherry Valley; his son, Frederick Goodsill of Richfield Springs; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The family is honoring Leslie's wishes for him to be cremated with no formal services.
