Leonard Prezorski

COBLESKILL- Leonard J. Prezorski, 76, of Loonenbergh Turnpike, died Monday, March 17, at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.
Mr. Prezorski was born December 18, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY and was the son of Leonard E. and Anna (McMail) Prezorski.
He was a US Navy Veteran serving from 1951 until his honorable discharge in 1955. He worked as an Engineer for New York Telephone in Patchogue, NY. He and his wife moved to the Cobleskill area in 1995 from Bay Shore, NY.
Mr. Prezorski was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge # 2040 in Cobleskill for 12 years and was a former trustee, a former member of the Knights of Columbus in Bay Shore, and was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cobleskill.
He was predeceased by one son, Thomas Prezorski, of Port Jefferson Station, NY, who died in 2005.
Mr. Prezorski is survived by his wife of 52 years, Antoinette (Bellocchio) Prezorski, 4 sons, Leonard M. (Lauren) Prezorski of Cobleskill, Stephen Prezorski of East Islip, NY, Christopher (Elizabeth) Prezorski of Afton, NY, Mark Prezorski of Hudson, NY, one daughter-in-law, Paula Prezorski of Mount Sinai, NY, 2 brothers, James (Eileen) Prezorski of Deer Park, NY, and Paul (Patricia) Prezorski of Middletown, NJ, as well as 8 Grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 138 Washington Heights, Cobleskill, NY with the Rev. Thomas Holmes as celebrant. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 from 4 to 7 pm at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY. Burial will be at 1:30 pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Rd., Schuylerville, NY.
