Leland Robinson
Dorloo- Mr. Leland W. Robinson, 90, of State Route 165, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Cobleskill Regional Hospital.
Mr. Robinson was born November 30, 1917 in Dorloo, the Town of Seward. He was the son of Emory and Edith (Bidwell) Robinson.
A maintenance worker for over 20 years, Mr. Robinson retired from the former Community Hospital of Schoharie County in 1985. He was a United States Army Airforce veteran, serving from 1942 until 1945 when he received an honorable discharge.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cobleskill. Mr. Robinson's hobby was that of woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Mary L. (Sauer) Robinson, whom he married Nov. 4, 1945; a daughter, Joan Robinson of Dorloo; a son, John (Patricia) Robinson of Corinth, TX; a grandson, Christopher Robinson of San Diego, CA; granddaughter, Marie (Douglas) Fetterman of Corinth, TX and their two daughters: Catlyn and Jessyca Fetterman.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at Seward Valley Cemetery in Dorloo. Officiating will be Rev. Jack Riley. There will be no calling hours.
