Leila Taylor

Cobleskill- Mrs. Leila E. Taylor, 90, of Iroquois Drive, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown following a brief illness.
Mrs. Taylor was born August 10, 1917 in Manhattan, the daughter of Mads Frederik and Margaret L.(Jacobsen) Jensen.
She was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Cobleskill.
Her husband, John H. Taylor, Sr., predeceased her on September 10, 1988.
Survivors include 4 children: John H. (Bonita) Taylor, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO, Marian Taylor Cerniglia of Sterling, VA, Lorraine Taylor (Robert) Szapka of Paramus, NJ, and Donald R. (Brenda) Taylor of Wallkill, NY; 15 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 29 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill. Friends may call from 2 to 3 PM at the funeral home on Saturday prior to the service. Spring interment will be in Cobleskill Rural Cemetery.
