Lawrence Resue

Richmondville- Lawrence A. ReSue, 64, of Palmer Road, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Mr. ReSue was born February 11, 1943 in Cobleskill, the son of Ernest and Virginia (Clapper) ReSue.
He was employed at Disneyland in Orlando, FL in the maintenance department before taking leave due to a disability. Mr. ReSue moved back to this area in 1975 when he took up residence in Richmondville. He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Richmondville.
Survivors include his wife, Tillie (Burton) ReSue, whom he married March 9, 1974; 3 daughters: Nancy Mattice of Roxbury, NY and Joyce Brewer of Waldorf, MD,and Lee Lamont of Schoharie; 2 sons: David Wayman of Cobleskill and Jeffrey Wayman of Fultonville; 2 sisters: Deborah and Linda; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; 5 additional grandchildren: Casey, Rachel, Gus Lamont, Jr., Rebecca and Jacob Lamont; and 1 great-granddaughter: Emma Rylie of Richmondville.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, Nov. 29, 2007 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill. Officiating will be Rev. Marvin Batcher of the United Methodist Church in Richmondville. Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
