Cobleskill- Laura Elizabeth Cole, 51, of West Main St., died Sunday, July 18, 2021, unexpectedly.

Laura was born June 21, 1970, in Cobleskill and was the daughter of the late Michael and Janet (Munise) Cole.

She was a graduate of the former Cobleskill Central School and continued her education to receive an associate degree. She attended college at SUNY Cobleskill, Russell Sage College and Duke University.

Left cherishing her memories are her wife, Anna (Bailey) Stone; three children:  Cheyenne Chavez  (Eddie), Daniel Bailey, and Tyler Jones; her beloved brother, Leif (Rose) Cole of Stokesdale, NC; niece, Desiree Cole and nephews: Stephen Cole and Sean Cole; paternal grandmother, Helene Cole; godmother/aunt, Sue Wilkens(Chris) of Cobleskill; godfather/uncle, John Munise of Saratoga; stepfather, Benjamin Stone, many aunts, uncles, great nieces, and great nephews, along with too many friends to mention.

A celebration of Laura’s life will be held on Saturday, July 31st at 2 PM at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.  Those wishing to attend are asked to wear Laura’s favorite color, purple. All friends and family are welcome to join for food and reminiscing after the funeral at Fusion Church.
