Sharon- Larry E. Hyatt, Jr., 60, of Church Street, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his residence.

Born May 2, 1960 in Belvidere, IL, he was the son of the late Larry E., Sr., and Marie (Ostlind) Hyatt.

Larry was a graduate of the former Richmondville Central School and enlisted in the United States Army.  He proudly serviced his country for six years before receiving an honorable discharge.

Larry was employed for 10 years as a Direct Support Professional at The Lexington Arc (formerly Schoharie County Arc) in Schoharie.  He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing and hunting.  He was a former member of the Richmondville Volunteer Fire Dept. Spending time with his family gave him the greatest pleasure.

Forever cherishing his memories are his wife, Sandra C. Hyatt, whom he married April 18, 1984; his three daughters:  Audrey N. Hyatt (Christopher G. Earley) of Johnstown, Katey-Anne Hyatt (Ty Miller) of Seneca Falls, and Mary Lynne Hyatt of Sharon; two grandchildren: Alexis L. Richter and Erick J. Earley; and three brothers: Robert (Lisa) Hyatt of Richmondville, James (Helen) Hyatt of Wingdale, and Ronald Hyatt of Summit.

Family and friends are invited to a period of visitation to be held from 5-7PM on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm St., Cobleskill.  Face covering and social distancing will be respected by all.  A private graveside service will be held at Richmondville Rural Cemetery in the Spring.
