Larry Hyatt

Richmondville- Larry E. Hyatt, Sr., 65, of Summit Street, died Sunday, October 8, 2006, at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.
Larry was born February 4, 1941 in Carmel, NY, the son of Raymond and Iva (Bryant) Hyatt.
He was employed at KSI in Cobleskill for many years in the maintenance department. Larry was an avid outdoor sportsman.
Survivors include his wife, Marie (Ostlind) Hyatt, whom he married July 28, 1960; 4 sons: Larry E. Hyatt, Jr. and Robert Hyatt, both of Richmondville, James Hyatt of Wingdale, NY and Ronald Hyatt of Richmondville; 3 sisters: Dorothy Head of Summit, Jean Miller of Millerton, and Charlotte Roe of Florida; 3 brothers: Marcus Hyatt of Carmel, NY, William Hyatt of Davenport Center, and Richard "John" Hyatt of Dover Plains, NY; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wed., Oct. 11, at Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home 171 Elm St. Cobleskill with Rev. Paul Messner officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 (Noon) to 1 PM on Wed., prior to the service. Burial will be in Richmondville Rural Cemetery.
